Professional Bio
Vanessa Solesbee, PTMP, CCTM, joined DIXON in late 2023, bringing extensive experience in public parking management and consulting. In her work across the US and into Canada, Vanessa has partnered with cities, universities, and business districts to deliver strategic parking plans, operational assessments, stakeholder engagement processes, and progressive public policy solutions—helping communities address the complex political and operational realities of managing public parking and curbside space.
As the municipal program leader for the Town of Estes Park (CO), the eastern gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park, Vanessa established and directed the Town’s first Mobility Services Division. In that role, she oversaw parking, transit, and later, fleet operations; introduced paid parking; procured and integrated battery-electric buses into the Town’s transit fleet; implemented enhanced parking signage and wayfinding; and managed millions of dollars in state and federal grants.
Vanessa currently serves as Chair Elect of the International Parking & Mobility Institute’s Certification Board, participates in IPMI’s Legislative & Policy Cohort, and is a member of the Board of Directors for Via Mobility—a nonprofit organization providing critical transportation services to older adults, individuals with disabilities, low-income populations, and rural communities.
