Stefanie Cox serves as the Parking Division Director for the City of Madison, Wisconsin. A Madison native with over 25 years of experience in parking operations and policy development, she began her career as a Parking Enforcement Officer. She advanced through multiple leadership roles, including more than 15 years as Parking Enforcement Supervisor, before being appointed as Division Director in 2023.
Stefanie is committed to modernizing how parking supports a vibrant, accessible, and sustainable capital city. Her work focuses on implementing programs and policies that enhance mobility, improve access, and align parking operations with broader community goals. She believes parking can be a catalyst for creating equitable, multimodal, and livable urban environments and takes pride in advancing that vision for her hometown.
