Professional Bio

Roy Yotvat is the Co-Founder and CEO of Pumba, an AI-powered street parking platform transforming urban mobility by helping drivers find parking in real time. Under Roy's leadership, Pumba has grown from a local pilot in Tel Aviv into a fast-growing company with thousands of paying users, strategic partnerships, and backing from leading investors including Uri Levine, co-founder of Waze and Moovit.

The idea behind Pumba was born from a deep understanding of one of the most frustrating daily urban challenges – searching for parking. By harnessing a network of crowd-sourced sensors and a proprietary computer vision algorithm, Pumba provides drivers with real-time parking availability and turn-by-turn guidance to free spots, dramatically reducing parking search time, traffic congestion, and CO₂ emissions.

Before founding Pumba, Roy was part of the Zell Entrepreneurship Program at Reichman University, where he graduated with distinction. His early ventures and academic journey shaped his entrepreneurial mindset and equipped him with a strong foundation in product development, UX thinking, and go-to-market strategy.

Roy is passionate about building products that solve real-world problems, and is deeply involved in both the strategic and operational aspects of Pumba — from fundraising and partnerships to product design and marketing. His unique blend of creative vision, hands-on leadership, and data-driven execution continues to push Pumba forward in its mission to make cities more efficient, sustainable, and driver-friendly.
