Professional Bio

After college, I worked for the City of Fresno’s Transportation Department. Fresno has a population of over 540,000 and covers over 110,000 square miles. I worked primarily in logistics, scheduling, and routing. I conducted agency presentations, outreach, and education. I created a procedure manual and conducted training for new employees. I developed a Para-Transit renewal program that resulted in approximately $200k in annual savings.

After ten years and in search of career growth, I accepted a promotion with Parking Services. My previous experience reviewing and applying Federal statutes, legal regulations, and compliance guidelines was an advantage in Parking Services. In my new position, I drafted legislative amendments for the municipal code, executive summaries, and reports to council. I monitored usage for five parking structures with over 3,600 combined parking spaces, and ten parking lots including employee permit parking and public parking. In my seven years with Parking Services, along with risk management and statistical analysis, I developed training programs to showcase new public parking technologies, gave public presentations, created brochures, and led various trainings.

Most recently, I became the Public Parking Coordinator for the City of Corvallis. I have the unique opportunity to completely revitalize the City’s parking program. As the new program administrator, I anticipate this year will be a busy year for Parking Services. I look forward to designing a modern and optimized parking system for our community.
