Professional Bio

Lisa brings 25 years of experience in innovating transportation, land use, and mobility planning at the national, regional, and local levels. Her future-forward approach began in USEPA’s policy office retooling federal regulations to better support smart growth, green infrastructure and multi modal transportation. From that experience she worked in the public and private sectors on planning and policy innovation to integrate share-used mobility and curbside management. Today, she leads development of next generation planning, smart city technology strategies, emerging mobility, and integrated placemaking for WGI.
Her specialties include parking planning, mobility plans, and planning for autonomous shuttles. For parking, Lisa has developed customized performance-based parking plans to help clients better use existing parking assets while phasing in a practical portfolio of mobility technologies. She is currently co-authoring a book on Complete Streets for the American Planning Association and sits on the board of the Lincoln Institute for Land Policy’s Consortium for Scenario Planning. When not working, she’s often on a bike ride along A1A.
