Professional Bio

I have been a consulting structural engineer for more than 40 years with extensive experience in the design, inspection, evaluation, and rehabilitation of structures with an emphasis on transportation facilities including parking structures, bridges, retaining walls, tunnel portal buildings, viaducts, wharves, and train station platforms.
I am a licensed professional engineer registered in 15 states. Notable projects in which I have been involved include the George Washington Bridge, the Goethels Bridge, the San Francisco Bay Ferry Building, Fisherman’s Wharf, the Gowanus Expressway, Fort Meade, Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, Ronald Reagan National Airport, James Madison University, National Harbor, Dulles Discovery, Washingtonian Center, and the Astra Zeneca Gaithersburg campus.
I am currently an Officer with DESMAN, a national parking consulting firm. My current responsibilities with DESMAN include oversight of all technical production in the Washington office, marketing and business development, and hands-on project management. To date, over 200 projects with which I have been involved have been constructed.
