Etienne Monat is the vice president of business development at AAA Parking.
Etienne grew up in the culturally rich French-speaking city of Montreal. When he and his family moved to the United States, he had to quickly adapt to a new culture and learn a new language. This ignited what would prove to be a lifelong passion for the world of travel. His strong work ethic was built at a young age with a variety of experiences in the food and beverage industry. Etienne went on to study Hospitality at the University of South Carolina, where he graduated with Cum Laude honors.
Etienne is now well-versed in all aspects of the hospitality and parking industry. He brings with him experience from the luxury brand Ritz-Carlton, the unique and personal approach of Kimpton, understanding of Marriott International, and of course the invaluable experience of his personal travels around the globe. From the initial analysis of needs to the conceptualization, presentation and execution of operations, Etienne thrives on creating innovative solutions and unforgettable customer experiences. His exceptional skills and dedication have earned him many prestigious accolades, including, 5-Star, and 5 Diamond awards.
Etienne also has a solid background in sales and marketing, and strongly values the power of branding. The pandemic brought about a wave of changes in how businesses operate, especially within hospitality. Recognizing the transformative potential of technology in meeting client needs, Etienne’s recent focus has been on gaining a deeper understanding of the digital economy and harnessing all it has to offer.
Etienne currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia, where he takes great pride in his role as a devoted husband and loving father to two beautiful boys.
