Andrea Tirao

Andrea has 25 years of professional experience in Sustainability, Environment, Architecture, Project Management, and Interior Design. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Post-graduate Education in Construction Management and multiple certificates in Sustainability. She currently holds the position of Sustainability Senior Manager in Diriyah Company for Diriyah Gate Development, a giga portfolio in Diriyah, Riyadh KSA. Andrea is responsible in sustainability and waste management approvals from districts to projects of various typologies. She manages the Sustainability & Environmental team of Parsons as Sr. Sustainability and Environmental Specialist and holds key roles in major design and construction supervision projects such as Masdar Parks, Jubail Island Residences and Al Gurm Island Phase 2 Residential and infrastructure projects. Responsible in bid proposals preparation for Sustainability and Environmental, Andrea is experienced with the S&E services offered to Clients. She worked with Arabtec Construction at Zayed National Museum project, fulfilling Estidama & LEED rating systems construction requirements. Andrea is well-versed in both design and construction delivery phases. She is an experienced Architect, preparing design stage deliverables, tender documents, design reviews of shop/as-built drawings and site inspections.She is acquainted to challenging sustainability requirements such as u-value assessment of Zayed National Museum, building envelope verification reporting for Midfield Terminal Abu Dhabi Airport. Andrea engages in the management of Sustainability and Environmental requirements of masterplan, infrastructure, public realm, and building in diverse types (commercial, schools, multi-residential, airport, hospitals, museum and theater projects). She is fully knowledgeable with Abu Dhabi Building Codes, Dubai Green Building Codes, Qatar and Saudi Green Building codes. Andrea is knowledgeable in ESG performance data benchmarks.
