Category: Frontline Fundamentals

Are you in a position where customers may start their interaction with you already amped up and confrontational?  Have you ever found yourself shying away from a coworker after an awkward interaction?  This session addresses how to effectively approach these difficult situations by sharing tiny portions, bites, and nibbles of information that can help you to improve your interactions with customers and colleagues.

Presenter:

Ben Schnabel, CAPP, is the Assistant Director for Operations at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities and a self-identified parking nerd. Over the course of his career, Ben has examined how positive relationships with customers, co-workers and industry professionals are curated and improved.  His methods are rooted in empathy and collaboration.  He believes that success in communication is always possible as long as you enter every interaction with the desire to learn something.
