Watch this 25-minute video and click and read the corresponding articles regarding Toronto’s involvement with cargo bikes. Define why cargo bikes and urban freight are critical. Recognize the environmental efficiency from delivering by truck to cargo bike. Illustrate the success through a case study from the City of Toronto regarding how cargo bikes can be utilized beyond courier operations. After you have completed the required materials, take the ten-question assessment and score 70% or greater to obtain Certification Points.

In this course, learn how to:

  • Comprehend and describe the negative impacts of using trucks/vans for last mile deliveries.
  • Explain the benefits of using cargo bikes to make last mile deliveries in urban settings.
  • Discover knowledge of Toronto’s e-Cargo Bike Mini Hub pilot project.
  • Recognize various ways in which cargo bikes can be utilized beyond courier operations.
