Rafael Sanchez is a Senior Associate for SOCOTEC in The US, focused on new construction and interiors projects, he leads the Sustainability team for Florida and spearheads the certification process for multiple green building rating systems and provides sustainable building research and project direction. With more than 15 years of experience in residential and retail architecture, Rafael has worked on architectural design projects in Miami, Venezuela, and Spain, always with emphasis on efficient design. Rafael believes that sustainability efforts should be a part of everyone’s life and, like human habitats, should be transdisciplinary experiences in which everyone is invited to participate.
