Perry H. Eggleston, DPA, PTMP

Dr. Perry H. Eggleston, DPA, PTMP, has 15+ years of experience in transportation and mobility. His work as a university police sergeant sparked an interest in parking operations, space use, and human behavior.
From 2008 to 2010, Dr. Eggleston worked in Kabul, Afghanistan, coordinating NGO air transportation and directing security for a humanitarian maternity hospital.
After returning to the United States in 2010, Dr. Eggleston held municipal and collegiate parking roles in six states before becoming a consultant. He served as Executive Director of Transportation Services at UC Davis through June 2025, where the department earned IPMI and CMPA awards. In 2023, he received IPMI’s James M. Hunnicutt Industry Professional of the Year award.
Dr. Eggleston earned a Doctor of Public Administration from Capella University in 2015, researching municipal and university parking policy. He also holds public administration and criminal justice degrees from California State University, Bakersfield.
He contributes to the industry as a committee member, conference presenter, and magazine author.
