Sr. Facility Manager overseeing parking operations at MacArthur Center:
• 4,600 parking spaces
• Multi parking mix garages
• 40 plus parking staff
Earlier in his career Horace served as an Operations Manager with SPPlus in Washington DC. Horace also served as the City of Norfolk Parking Administrator before returning to SPPlus as a Sr. Facility Manager. Over the course of his career Horace has been directly responsible for commercial office parking; valet parking; stadium and special event parking; city enforcement and residential parking.
Experiences and Accomplishments:
• Holds an MBA in Management from Averett University
• Over 20 years of progressive parking management with 3 plus years as a subject matter expert (SME) in municipal parking operations
• Diverse parking background in private and municipal parking operations
• Served as an SME for the City of Norfolk at select stakeholder meetings and city community meetings
• Creative problem solver focused on operational excellence and the customer experience
