Armand Scala, PTMP, PECP, Senior Associate Director, University of Maryland, College Park Armand has over 20 years of experience in the parking and transportation industry and currently is the Senior Associate Director for the Department of Transportation Services at the University of Maryland, College Park. In his leadership role he has overseen parking enforcement, special event parking, parking facility maintenance and the Shuttle-UM campus transit system. The UMD campus has 16,000 parking spaces, including 5 parking garages, and the campus transit system operates 24/7 during the academic year providing fixed-route, demand response, paratransit and charter services to as many as 3 million riders per year. Armand currently holds certifications as a Parksmart Advisor, Parking Enforcement & Compliance Professional (PECP) and a Parking, Transportation & Mobility Professional (PTMP). |
