Professional Bio
As Vice President of Program Development, Rachel spearheads mobility and research initiatives, including national and global partnerships. She frequently represents IPMI and the industry as a author, speaker, and facilitator. She led the development of a new textbook for the industry, "A Guide to Parking," in addition to three previous volumes, including "Sustainable Parking Design, Management and Operations: A Practitioner's Guide." She is leading the organizations Accredited Parking Organization (APO) program, which sets a new benchmark for excellence in the industry. Her experience includes 17 years in the A/E/C industry in international energy and environmental consulting, multi-disciplined engineering and construction firms. In 2012, the International Parking Institute selected her as the Parking Professional of the Year for her efforts in sustainability in the parking industry.
