Joshua N. Kavanagh, PTMP

Josh Kavanagh, PTMP, has been a leading voice in the transportation industry for more than 20 years, helping to bring parking, transit, and transportation demand management (TDM) professionals together to develop highly integrated solutions. At UC San Diego, he’s turned his attention to integrating fleet and consumer solutions, specifically in EV charging and carsharing, and the application of behavioral economics to shape consumer behavior in parking and charging. Kavanagh was the recipient of IPMI’s 2014 Professional of the Year and 2008 Chair’s Award. He has served in a host of regional professional associations and advocacy organization roles and as the national president of the Association for Commuter Transportation.
