IPMI’s Mobility Framework in Action

Offers 1 CAPP Point towards application or recertification.

IPMI’s Mobility Task Force recently collaborated on the definition of mobility and how it affects our industry. The Task Force defined, “Mobility is the study, operation, and integration of all available transportation modes to coordinate the movement of people, goods, and services.” As such, mobility is the integration of all aspects of transportation in a seamless management system to better facilitate stakeholder access and choices across all demographics. Mobility management systems include planning, operations, finance, programming, and technology as well as policy, governance, best practices, and strategies. They incorporate public and private parking assets; public and private transit; active transportation, micro-mobility options, TDM strategies; transportation network companies; commercial freight delivery and loading and more. In other words, it runs the gamut!  Join us to break down the new and evolving Mobility Framework through examples and real-world case studies.

  • Learn the characteristics, activity flow, stakeholders, and principal values driving mobility.
