Mastering Your Mentor Mojo – The Power of Mentorships to Propel Your Career
Education | On-Demand Frontline Fundamental
Description:
Chances are we’ve all heard about great mentors from our friends and colleagues and maybe we’ve been lucky enough to have a great one ourselves. That person who tucks you under their wing and guides us unselfishly as we grow our capabilities, experiences and perspectives is a saintly person who holds a special place in our hearts and minds and deserves tons of credit for who we’ve become. But many of us haven’t experienced the benefits of having a great mentor and maybe others of us are drawn to the ideals of service and wish to be a mentor ourselves. In this session we’ll discuss the importance of mentorships and share tips on forming the most effective mentor-mentee relationships. We’ll look from both the perspective of the mentee in choosing a mentor and we’ll discuss what a mentor must do to make the relationship and outcomes positive and lasting.
