Shylah is a Certified Administrator of Public Parking (CAPP), a designation that represents the best of the industry by advancing the profession and leading with innovation, professionalism, and expertise. The CAPP designation assures stakeholders—including employers, regulators, consumers, and the public—that she has demonstrated an established level of industry-specific knowledge.
With over 13 years at Diamond Parking, Shylah has developed and managed municipal and hospital parking programs across various markets. Her notable projects include Pierce County’s County/City Building Parking Lots, the City of Kirkland On-Street Parking Program, and the CHI Franciscan Healthcare Hospital Campus Parking in Tacoma, WA.
Shylah has overseen numerous municipal contracts such as the University of Washington Tacoma Campus Parking, City of Bellevue On-Street Parking Enforcement, and King County Library Systems Parking Management. She began her tenure at Diamond Parking as the South Sound Operations Manager and, through successful expansion and program launches, was promoted to City Manager for the Bellevue/Eastside region. Most recently, she was promoted to oversee operations in the San Diego, CA region.
In addition to her professional achievements, Shylah is an active community volunteer, participating in beach and community cleanups.
