Mr. George Mclean is the Senior Business Analyst of the Miami Parking Authority. Mr. Mclean is a cross-functional leader heading the development and implementation of enterprise-level solutions. In addition, he simultaneously manages the day-to-day operations of the Authority's customer service and marketing departments. In this capacity, Mr. Mclean has complete operational control over data analytics, technological innovations, social media presence, community engagement, and brand management.

Mr. Mclean possesses two Bachelor's degrees from Florida International University and a Master's degree from Nova Southeastern University. He is currently a Doctoral Candidate at Saint Leo University. In addition, Mr. Mclean is CAPP certified and is a Leadership Miami Graduate.

Biography and Areas of Interest

George J. McLean, DBA, MPA, PTMP, is a senior public-sector operations and analytics leader serving as Senior Operations & Data Insights Manager at the Miami Parking Authority. In this role, he leads enterprise analytics, performance reporting, and decision-support initiatives that inform strategy, governance, and day-to-day operations across the organization.

George works at the intersection of data, operations, and policy—supporting revenue modeling, compliance analysis, technology modernization, and cross-departmental planning. His portfolio spans operational analytics, process improvement, stakeholder reporting, and executive-level insights that translate complex information into actionable outcomes.

In addition to his professional role, George is an adjunct professor of business, teaching undergraduate and upper-division courses and integrating real-world public-sector experience into the classroom. He is the author of From Knowledge to Influence: The Credible Leader’s Playbook, which focuses on leadership credibility, governance, and professional influence in modern organizations.

George holds two bachelor’s degrees from Florida International University, a master’s degree from Nova Southeastern University, and a Doctor of Business Administration. He is a Professional Transportation & Mobility Professional (PTMP), a Leadership Miami graduate, and an active contributor within the parking, mobility, and public-management professions.

Outside of work, George is an avid non-fiction reader and a dedicated fitness enthusiast, often starting his mornings with long runs or training sessions.
