Professional Bio
Maria Irshad, CAPP, MPA is the deputy director for ParkHouston, the agency responsible for on-street parking in the City of Houston. In her role, Maria leads a team of 80 and provides parking policy recommendations to the Mayor’s Office. She serves as the immediate past president for the Texas Parking & Transportation Association and is on the board for the Accredited Parking Organization along with serving on various IPMI committees. Maria is past president of the Houston chapter of Women Professionals in Government and was selected as the 2020 IPMI Industry Professional of the Year.
