Professional Bio

John W. Nolan, MSM, CAPP

John Nolan has been at Harvard University for 24 years and currently serves as the Managing Director of Transportation and The Campus Service Center.
His direct oversight includes capital construction and restoration, university parking, transit and fleet management, alternative fuel initiatives, sustainable operational and TDM programs, university mail and distribution, The Campus Services Center and parking building management.
Mr. Nolan holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Merrimack College, and a master’s degree in management from Lesley University. In addition, he holds the certified administrator of public parking from the University of Virginia and the International Parking and Mobility Institute.
Mr. Nolan has over 32 years of extensive management experience in university and healthcare settings where he has served numerous times as an owner’s representative or project executive for capital garage, building and restoration projects in excess of $500 million dollars.
He is Past President of NEPC and is a past member of the IPI Board of Directors where he served on the finance and professional certification committees. He currently serves on the planning and design committee and as Chairman of the CAPP golf committee a major funding source for the CAPP Scholarship Fund.
