Terrance Gilmore, Senior Vice President, Central East Coast, LAZ Parking

Terrance is based in Philadelphia and oversees the Mid-Atlantic region which currently includes more than 1,000 employees. He has vast experience in multiple business silos including, medical services, hospitality, universities and large scale event management, and works directly with his Regional Vice Presidents to develop detailed operational plans for management clients and owners throughout the Mid- Atlantic states and Washington, D.C. to most effectively execute their objectives for their properties. Prior to joining the LAZ Parking family, Terrance worked for InterPark Inc. five years as the Market Officer for the Philadelphia region, focusing on asset and yield management. Terrance is involved with multiple local civic and corporate associations and he is an active member of the Philadelphia Parking Association. Terrance holds an economics degree from Skidmore College. Panelists 

Marcía L. Alvarado, PE, Structural Market Leader, WGI  

As the Tampa Structural Market Leader, Marcia is responsible for all aspects of WGI’s Structural Engineering practice in the Tampa Bay region including client interaction, recruiting and developing team members, and overseeing her department’s production and business operations. She has 17 years of structural engineering experience and project management of new construction and renovation in healthcare, commercial, higher education, multi-story residential, federal, aviation and parking garages. Marcia also serves as the JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion) Council Lead at WGI. She has been a speaker, panelist, and educator for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion since 2018 and has a Diversity and Inclusion certification from Cornell University. She has presented/featured to several organizations such as Zweig Group ElevateHer, SMPS chapters across the country, International Parking & Mobility Institute, Associated Builders and Constructors NexGen, AAAE, Society of Women Engineers, and University of South Florida Marcia is a graduate of Leadership Tampa Bay, Class of 2017, and serves as the Diversity and Inclusion Chair for the Board of Directors. Maria Irshad, CAPP, Assistant Director, ParkHouston 

Maria Irshad, CAPP, MPA is the Assistant Director for ParkHouston, the agency responsible for the management of 10,000 paid parking spaces; enforcement of all parking codes and administration of parking permits. She leads a team of 75 and provides policy recommendations to the Mayor’s Office.  Maria is a Certified Administrator of Public Parking and holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration. She serves on the board of the International Parking & Mobility Institute and is a past president of the Texas Parking & Transportation Association and Women Professionals in Government.
