TDM & LEED For Parking

About the course: This course will perform a deeper dive on transportation demand management (TDM), its relationship to parking, and how a project can best incorporate TDM to achieve desired results. Specific synergies between Parksmart and LEED for credit opportunities will be highlighted as well as innovative ideas to consider for potential LEED credit. This course consists of a 20-minute video, articles and online resources.

In this course, learn how to:

  • Illustrate emerging technology such as micro-mobility, app-based ride-sharing and their impact on curb space.
  • Recognize the connection among LEED projects and incorporating TDM elements into the design and operations for credit.
  • Discover how to combine a LEED and a Parksmart project for points to earn LEED points for Innovation.
  • Identify several strategies that reduce parking demand and can assist with LEED or Parksmart credit.
