High performance doors have been around for over forty years and got their start as a solution for demanding high-traffic areas within behind-the-scenes industrial applications.  Original models were made of heavy-duty fabric panels, and opening speeds were five times faster than conventional rolling steel doors.  High performance doors (both fabric and rigid models) continue to be a popular choice for highly visible and demanding applications such as parking garages & stadiums.

In this Learning Lab, you’ll discover:

  • Why high performance doors are a smart choice for busy parking applications as compared to conventional rolling steel doors.
  • Three high performance door models that are designed specifically for parking garage applications.
  • Resources available to assist with specifying high performance doors for renovation or new construction.
